The Laager 21 newsletter captures the vibrant spirit of the Trekkers family during their March 13–15, 2026 outspan at Millers Point, Simonstown. Blessed with perfect weather and breathtaking views, families enjoyed swimming, sightseeing, and relaxed campsite moments. Highlights included Friday’s fun-filled games hosted by Marco and Zander, Saturday’s educational snake talk, and the lively African Kings and Queens quiz where Team South Africa triumphed.
Awards celebrated best-dressed winners Lionel Williams and Lesley Shaw, while milestone outspans honored members like Leighton & Lesley Shaw (150 outspans). The weekend closed with a warm Sunday Indaba, laughter, and gratitude for hosts Judy & Xander O’Connor and Janine & Marco Smith.
